[DuckHunt 1945]

graphics need work

The overall game was pretty good but I noticed one of the flaws you had were the graphics. some of the graphics that you actually did yourself (not the video game BG) looked like they were made in MS Paint. They were not very good looking. such as when "you take cover" and the wall comes up. some of those wer every crude. another thing I should mention was the guns. It was nice to see that they were done on some kind of 3d program and the reload animations were pretty good, but they just didn't seem to match with the rest of the game. and the real problem is that you left some white squares around the gun. Not alot. like a couple of pixels but enough so that one could notice.

Id I were to make a "game" with this same concept but with the same graphics i bet it wouldn't pass. Honestly there's only 4 weapons you can pick and it get's old. FAST. but that could have been forgivin if the graphics were at least a little better.

It really is too colorful to be creepy. (along with the other flaws.)

small problems

I liked this. It felt more creative than all those other mario games. You even used diffrent sprites and diffrent music. There were someproblems however.

First off there was a big problem with the music. When playing the level it started playing and then just stopped. please fix this. And It would be nice if you could make the jumping physycs a little better to the style of Super mario world. Ethier way it was a good game but if you just fixed these two things up a bit it'd be better.

The music could be a problem because of a slow computer, the music is made so it stops after a level to save filesize, its made for my computer.

Worth saving

The Idea is basic but it looks good enough to be saved. The only problem is that it looks like it won't make it. MY Advice is To add some Good Music and maybe a little bit of sound fx (as long as you don't go overboard.) Do that and then it should be saved.

What the heck is this? Math......? In a game......? On Newgrounds? I personally didn't enjoy a lick of it but it looks like you made the game really well so you get points for that.

Fun and slightly more creative than others

THis was a fun good game. I like the idea of using a mouse to play this one, this way you only have to use one hand to play. It would be nice however to use the keyboard for special functions like special attacks and such.

There was a problem I noticed, however. All I had to do when I got bored of the first level was right click and click play. Than it sent me to the screen you would get if you beat the level. Try and fix this problem so that people can enjoy the game without cheating.other than that though no major flaws. Just try and make the game move a little faster next time. Still nice work, I'm already seeing this in the daily or weekly top ten.

well It was good. but number one?

Well It was a good game. not neccesirally a new idea but you executed it really well. The scripting for the enemies and the laser movements was good.

One thing I had a small problem was the music. It was decent, but It didn't go with the game. If possible you should add an option to lower the music volume only and not the sound fx. I also felt the game moved a tad too slow, more during the beggining. And some of the backgrounds were not too spectaculor. But of course I shouldn't ask for much. after all you had to work harder on the scripting then the artwork. Somehow though I just don't fell it should be number one. Definetly in the top 20 but I don't think it's number one status. good work anyway.

good work on scripting

You are amazing dude. The game isn't too spectacular but the fact that you did all that scripting plus the fact that the physics work well is awsome. When I first saw that this game was 6 kb and had a score of 4.02 I was Like "What?!?!" but it really is fun. Good job!
