Nice movie

This is a great way for people to learn how stick movies are suposed to be. Nice smooth animation, funny action, apropriate sound effects, and good music. good job.

a little too short

It was a good animation a little too short, however, for it's file size. I know what the problem is. Set the the sound to 'Stream' insted of 'start'. This will lower the file size and stay synched to the movie.

ehh, little overhyped

It's actually felt a little overhyped to me. The animation wasnt as great as i thought it would be and some of the movments were chopy. but then again I might just be jealous that I just sent out a movie like this yesterday with mario and luigi fighting and this seems to be getting better reviews. No hard feelings though. good work for your first flash and i hope to see your work later.

stream sound!!!

That was actually quite funny (ironic huh?). well one BIG problem i noticed is that the sound wasnt syched up to the movie. plus the filesize seemed a little too big. I'm pretty sure what your problem is that you didnt set your sound to "stream". when update it later fix it up. im sure it'l synch it up better and it'l reduce the file size.

I tried to set the sound to stream, but... yeah. Things went terribly awry and sounds were playing where they weren't supposed to. I eventually gave up. I'm not sure why it didn't work. I'll try to figure it out for next time, though. Thanks for the review.

some freaky stuff

yep, whenever i think of what is yet to come it freaks me out a little. But the flash was defenetly good for your first! awsome stuff. It just makes me wonder what kind of project your sister had.

Thank you! The project was to make a short movie, and make it talk for it self, it could be about anything just a long it was max 3min long, then when I saw a program on the tv about war, it made me think that love is really dying.

dude get a background!

It's seems like you were experimenting with Action Script on this before you submited it. I like the concept but you really need to get a background. trust me i suck at drawing backgrounds but anything's better than just a white screen!!

The idea behind the background (lacking of) is because they started off as sketches. The idea is they were supposed to be related to the paper.

Actually... there is very little action script in it. Except the loader, of course.

aww man. I had no idea i was in such danger of getting blammed! I dont have any backrounds, I was gonna tell people that it is my first flash, and i am doing stick animations. the only good thing i'm doing is that my stick figure animations are actually pretty good. At first i was kinda happy thinking my flash would probably make it. Now i see i should work on it a little more before submitting it. well thanks for the flash, it did give me some good advice and it was funny too!. great job
